We will test over this Topic 14 on Monday of next week and then will start place value to the thousands place. Reading We are continuing to work on synonyms and antonyms, commas, prefixes and suffixes, sentence structure and detail and much more. Keep reading at home. I’m impressed daily at how awesome our fluency is! Science We are waiting for our last science kit to show up: Air and Weather! Social Studies We are still working through our continents. So far, we have learned about North and South America and we have started Europe this week. Math Measurement has been treating us well. It is nice to get up out of our seats and measure around the room! Reading Keep reading at home. We are working hard on our fluency at school as well. Encourage your child to continue checking out books for their book in a bag. And remember to return their calendars! A new March calendar went home this week. Social Studies / Science We learned about South America this week. Ask your child about any fun facts that they learned this continent! We will be learning about North America next week!
